Right Discovery Heads to RelFest Chicago

Right Discovery Staff Writer

The countdown is on! From September 29 through October 1, the legal community will gather in Chicago for RelFest 2026, bringing together eDiscovery professionals, legal technology leaders, service providers, practitioners, and innovators for three days of education, technology, conversation, and plenty of opportunities to reconnect.

Held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, this year's RelFest promises a packed agenda focused on where legal data and technology are headed next, with over 100 sessions, workshops, Learning Labs, networking opportunities, and the ever-popular Community Pavilion. And not to forget the flagship event is the high-glam Masquerade Ball!

AI, Legal Data Intelligence and the Future of Legal Tech

AI continues to be a major theme across the legal technology space, and RelFest 2026 is no exception. The conference will spotlight the latest developments in Relativity's technology, including Relativity aiR, while exploring practical questions around AI adoption, legal data intelligence, investigations, review, and case strategy.

The opening keynote on Wednesday, September 30 will feature Relativity CEO Phil Saunders, President Chris Brown, and other product leaders discussing industry changes and new product innovations.

There is plenty more to explore beyond the keynote. Sessions will tackle topics ranging from AI in eDiscovery and the courts to legal data intelligence, case law, investigations, and the practical application of technology. The annual Judicial Panel will take on "Preservation, Proportionality, Privilege, and Prompts," bringing judges and legal technology experts together to examine some of today's most pressing discovery questions.

And for those who like to get hands-on, Learning Labs and workshops offer opportunities to move beyond the discussion and see technology and workflows in action. Sessions include practical explorations of Relativity aiR, AI-assisted case strategy, forensic investigations, training and enablement, and other ways teams are putting legal data intelligence to work.

And Then There's the Community

Of course, RelFest has always been about more than sessions and technology.

It's about the conversations between sessions. The quick catch-up with someone you haven't seen in months. Meeting a new tech partner, comparing notes with peers, finding out what other legal teams are working on. And, inevitably, running into someone you know while heading to your next session. That's a big part of what makes this annual gathering so much fun!

The Community Pavilion will once again be a central gathering place, with opportunities to connect with sponsors, explore technology, catch demonstrations, and spend time with the people who make the Relativity community what it is. The conference will also feature the annual Relativity Innovation Awards, celebrating organizations and individuals bringing new ideas and approaches to legal technology.

Right Discovery Is Ready for Chicago

Right Discovery is excited to be heading to RelFest Chicago and ready to catch up with colleagues, clients, technology partners, and friends from across the industry.

For us, conferences like RelFest are an opportunity to listen, learn, share ideas, and stay connected to what's happening across eDiscovery and legal technology. We're especially looking forward to the conversations around AI, practical technology adoption, and how legal teams can make increasingly complex data more useful, manageable, and actionable.

So if you're heading to Chicago, keep an eye out for the Right Discovery team. Come say hello, grab a coffee, compare notes, talk technology, or just catch up. We'll see you in Chicago!
